Frozen in time
are these
legends of long ago
statues of them
cremated in
the dusty wind
we watched them
become heroes of the past
the pages of time
they turn
much too fast
frozen in time
legends of long ago
no sound
they'll make
until the
trumpets starts to blow
frozen in time
are these
legends of long ago
we will celebrate life
as we drink
another glass of wine
we pay tribute
to these
legends of long ago
frozen in time
