Long Before Lego Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Long Before Lego

He was, and is, a craftsman grand,
With blocks of light, a skillful hand.
He built up you, and built up me,
A work of art, eternally.

With countless shades and colors bright,
He shaped our forms in morning light.
Through ages long, he didn't cease,
Creating life, and granting peace.

Our spinning world, a vibrant sphere,
He made it all, so very clear.
A sun he formed, of golden hue,
To warm our days, and see us through.

His blocks of might, so strong and true,
Set planets in their orbits, too.
A perfect place, the sun he spun,
Before our little games begun.

Long, long ago, before the toy,
He made the world, with endless joy.
His master plan, for all to see,
From him, and them, and you, and me.
