Long Distance Love Poem by emily summers

Long Distance Love

Rating: 4.8

we are growing apart,
and we can't even start,
converations anymore,
we used to be wild,
but now we are such a bore,
we don't know what to say,
we don't know how to feel,
because even though we're face to face,
the mile gap seems real,

ever since you moved away,
it just hasn't been the same,
not that i believe it's you who holds the blame.

We've grown,
we've changed so,
we have nothing in common now,
but we still don't know how,
to end this,
the awkward hanging silence,
begins to lurk,
now whoever believed
that long distance
relationships can work?
