we're miles and miles apart
but still being with you feels so smart
it feels so right
even though knowing we're so apart keeps me up at night
youre over there
and im over here
but our love is still having
nothing to fear

i am the river
as you are the sea
cause im still letting
my love flow from me
even thought from eachother we're so far
we can just always remember
just maybe we're
wishing on the same star

maybe we're far
from phisical attention
but we still try to show
our loving affection
lant and wather may seperate us
and night and day maybe a small conflict
but when we both try
maybe our love can stick

we're so close
as distance is so far
yet you still love me
how could i ask for more?
(now back to reality)
but of course
this is all in my head
cause im just thinking here
laying in my bed
words are gone
that wont be said
never made there journey
past my head

i guess when your far
love is no factor
you try to forget
right on after
trying is only
the begining
and achieving
isnt even the ending
whats the point
of saying this is over
you cant last with us togther

when your not interested
in someone else
you say your lonely
but its the same either way
so breaking isnt necisary
i thought love wAS
stronger
than what we made it out to be
and im begining to wonder
was it really love with you and me

in my heart
i felf like i knew
but then i had to go
and your love left too
you felt different
something had shifted and moved
went in the opposite direction
starting with the curve
but what does it matter
im over here
your over there
you dont love me
but i still care

but i guess you can assume
that long distance doenst work
but will leave you to feel a gloom
distance
can break up the best couple
lonliness
can bring out the worst in people
long distance, what can i say?
but it doesnt work
when your across the country
living in new york
