Long Lasting Kisses Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Long Lasting Kisses

My eyes are glued to the lake,
my body is tensing up.
I don't think I can move.
Your hand slides on my thigh,
making my scars more visible.
Please...don't touch them.
I try so desperatley,
but can't lift my arms.
I try to speak,
but no words come out.
Your fingertips start following the lines.
Please...don't..
I promised, I promised.
No one touches them.
Just, one person.
Still your hand massages my leg,
sending pins and needles through my leg.
You push my skirt up higher,
and lean down.
The instant your lips touch me,
I can feel my stomach turning.
Only one person has ever,
should ever.
I beg you, stop.
'Better? '.
I pretend to smile,
and whisper so quietly
'Thanks.'
