Long Long The Time Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Long Long The Time

long
long
the
time
here
this
ancient
land
and
island.
Over
The
Marge
Beauty
Peeps
The
Rustling
Continues
Still
And
Longing.
Bring
The
Wreaths
Today.
The
Seas
To
Throw
Them
Over
Wait.
The
Day
Is
Waiting.
‘Ashes'
Said
The
Skeleton
‘Ashes'
Whispered
The
Skeleton,
Gasping.
‘Ashes'
Groaned
The
Skeleton
Rattling
‘After
All
I
Still
Have
Bones'
And
Bent
His
Head.
