This is a very small poem which brings hope in the form of a fragile light against the overarching darkness. Your poem is a good example of Jesus's advice, Don't curse the darkness, light a lamp. I am confident that the poems I am writing - I have 79 posted here at POEMHUNTER - are affirmative. I have a notebook full of incomplete poems, many, too many expressing dead-end views. But the ones I finish and post all seem to have some quality of light. (However, my most recent poem SEVEN WINDOWS is a kind of dystopia, but it's a narrative poem and not a personal statement the way my Lyric Poems are. It must be TRUE CONFESSION time!)
