Long Nights Poem by Ratha Hou

Long Nights

When insomnia kicks in, all I think about is you
Time suddenly freezes, the duration becomes irrelevant
Motions become sluggish, my mind ignores validity

Departed i am from thy self, I'm lost in your existence
Mindless, my thoughts merge the images
Producing a everlasting joy repeating itself

To witness such a goddess in my presence seems unreal
Taking notice to such a beautiful entity contaminates my body
Feeling so tainted, yet i'm satisfied and blessed

Seeing nothing but glory, and passion in your eyes
Your fire igniting my fuse, setting off explosions of affection
Amplifying the sweet love I've become addicted to

The long nights I endure, long nights that generate my function
Just a bit longer I tell myself, I'm soon to be with you
And as the bright sun approaches, I lay fast asleep under her spell

Gently written but with quality still. Nice one.
