Longing
You are like an afternoon shower
Of early May
You come and go
As if you have never come
You don't have the patience
Of a jasmine - who stays whole night
Till morn
How can I nest within you
If you won't be an oak for me!
Longing is so short lived..it has to stay overnight and incur a sense of sticking deeper into the soul, like the hue that lingers in the petals of the flowers. Loved the essence of this poem. 10 for the poem. Thanks for sharing it.
