If you search
The eyes of this divine existance
you will see warriors in battle
giving their blood
for their fate to be free
a symphony of the desert
among the unbalanced melodies of a metropole
A young child playing
without a worry in the world
a woman suffering in silence
and the pain she endures
a blacksmith using his thrust
for his sons
over the centuries
iron rusting to dust
water turning to crust
valcanos ready to burst
and the undying thirst...
A strange distant rythym
rings in your ears
and you get lost behind the eyes
but then the magic vanishes
like it always does
no one is here to stay
so all you could do was
look away.

I would like to translate this poem
A thoughtful poem, which takes a sudden plunge from first stanza to second stanza and then turn back in last stanza thus completing its circle. The theme has been poetized vividly without any grace note. With love and affection I give you 10/10....Your Uncle, Naseer.
