Look, Look Poem by Shalom Freedman

Look, Look

LOOK LOOK

Look look
The flowers the trees
The greens the purples
Listen to the lines of Hopkins
Greater than mine
Vermillion on Mishmar Ha- Am.

Walk in happiness on the way
To pray in the morning.

And later when the davvening done
Write these lines down.
As if they were soothing shades of yellow green light
Recollected in tranquility
Under a light blue Israel sky.
