Look Who's In Office Poem by Etienne Charilaou

Look Who's In Office

Innocent at birth,
he evolves into a tyrant without mirth.

He's a politician - why should I trust him?
Now that he controls the House,
do you think he'll stay a mouse?

He'll use those tanks if he must,
to crush the opposition to the dust.

Let's set a new precedent
and not have a human president.

An A.I. could run things for a spell,
and probably do it quite well.

It might seem a tall order today
but in the future it might go that way.
