Lord Help Me Today

Lord help me to have a revival
In my heart today
Show Yourself strong on my behalf
When I come to You and pray
With a heart fullof thanksgiving
Hallelujah for the Cross
May I follow in its light
And cherish my sins true cost

Not one work that I have done
Has secured my inner peace
Just the work that Christ has done
Has procured my sins release
Now dressed in the cloak of God's Righteousness
His covering for my sin
Praise God for my day of repentance
When I placed my trust in Him

Unshackled now from sins bondage
And its masterhood over me
I'm no longer a slave to sin
Praise God for Calvary
My heart now has no room for darkness
The Spirit helps keep me clean
For greater is He that lives within
All glory be to His name
