Lord Shiva, Mahashivaratri Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Lord Shiva, Mahashivaratri

Within me lies His poison
That He had drunk eons ago
My hands are tied with snake
That He wears around His neck

My eyes hold the ocean
He has got its deep blueness
And I like to be all forgiving
Like Him to whom I pray today

I like to go to mountains
Live in their silence in deep
Meditation away from chaos
O God of Gods! ! Please live in me
