I open the door and feel the dawn
Descending upon my palm as I hurry
To have a walk across the lawn
I open the window and feel the cold
Through my body; it makes me shiver
As to the unfolding bud I behold
I open the door and breathe the air
Fragrance from foliages enter into me
Flowers swing in breeze with beauty and flair
I open the window and stoop a little
The worm has wriggled out its hole and crawled
Crushing the dews that are soft and brittle
I open the door to welcome the ray
That has come down from heaven
Piercing the clouds of colours- silver and gray
I open the window to watch the hill
The halo of light hovers over its head
Like a sage in deep penance it is sitting still
I open the doors and windows and say
A prayer in His glory who created this all
Before I would get lost in my works for the day

Your beautiful poem shows the importance of taking the time to savor the wonders the Lord has wrought.
Such a lovely poem Dear Sir! Beautiful imagery, an ideal day; beautiful sceneries and starts with prays and the diurnal course. The refrain, " I open the window.., " comes out with beautiful and spelly pictures. I really loved reading the poem. It's not 'Good Morning', it's great morning.
Thanks very much my friend for your precious comment. My gratitude.
