LORD VENKATESARA
Prostrations to you O Lord of seven hills
You're here on top and Ma Manga on ground.
At midnight hours poor Lord you cross the sills
To meet the Ma and shower kisses sans a sound.
Some millions have Darshan of you and submit
Their pleas all days and nights depriving you
Of sleep or rest. I know the divine writ
The Gods don't sleep to save the virtuous few.
We heard you had a set back in health sometime
Ago by eating tallowed Laddu sweet? !
Who ever sinned, those wicked bigots of crime.
I'm sure one day their blazing fate they meet.
I'm sorry Lord you too got your own woes.
Alas, the God as well got rabid foes
