Lordsview Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Lordsview

Into HIS hands I place my Fate,
I trust HE will look after me,
When before the Judge today I go,
What will the outcome be?

The second Court appearance is today,
To decide whether I stay in the flat,
On a technicality I may win,
But as yet, I’m not sure of that.

The cause of the Action for Trespass is,
But a Tenant, I’m sure I am,
For in January the Notice said I was,
And the facts are sticky like jam.

The Action taken is legally wrong,
For a Tenant cannot a Trespasser be,
The Judge will decide my Fate today,
As to my Status ~ I’ll wait and see.

As a Tenant I may still reside here,
‘Lordsview’ is the name of the Block,
A view of the Cricket Ground it does have,
And HIS view of me, is a fact.
