Lorikeet; After A Summer Hail Poem by james watkin

Lorikeet; After A Summer Hail

Shaken out of sky-folds
Those, cloudy sheeted
What shocks, more, icy weather.
Feather on feather.

Dyed in no rainbow sign's
Tranquil relieving!
Display, more audibly
Pronounced. Leaves deaf in!

You, on gum, grevillea
Balanced, delicate
Look out! Not for hands, below;
Claws, above. Irate!
