Losing Touch Poem by Monica Melissano

Losing Touch

Displaced
In another time
Fearing
Nothing's going to be
The same again
Yet unknowing why
Please close that door
And all your windows
I feel like crying
But really
Don't know why
Maybe it's just a bad dream
Maybe new good mornings
Will wake me up
From this dreadful experience
Of missing you
While you're here
Beside me
