Lost Demands Of Inspiration Poem by Mario P...

Lost Demands Of Inspiration

Rating: 5.0

Running through air space
And travelling through time
Looking around to secure what is mine
But during the search emotions break free
And gradually destroy all I was meant to be

After a while of not taking a fall
Taking a blink at what I once saw
A glass that is full and waiting to spill
Is a world of emotions that are begging to stay still

A box of incentives, is what u r given
Running through failures that were not always forgiving
Chasing a dream that they have taught u to have
And forgetting eternally, that thought that makes u mad

They say practice makes perfect and spirits are free
But its love and emotions that hold the secret key
Our greed for the money is an individual disease
As its always a challenge to objectively balance energy

As great as a thought the first time it hits
That is how life is when your cycle peaks
But as all that is round, what went up, must eventually come down
And all that is left at the end of the day, is the sweet misery that we call memory

To evolve is our aim and progress the gain
But what we have lost is not our only cost
As what we potentially could have managed to be
Is the secret inside us willing to be free

Enslaved through the thoughts that u have passed on to me
Guided by a light that is too bright to see
The ability to wonder, I hope will always remain free
As erosion is something that can happen instantly

We live in a world we created yesterday
And eventually forget about what’s going on today
We dream of a future that will force us to see
All of that for which we can never agree

Great job-I really enjoyed reading this poem that has a good understanding of life. One should try to live in the moment/ at least take one day at a time. It takes effort, but it's worth it. I tend to be a dreamer & I hope people try to fullful their dreams every day. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Ravensong
