Lost Faith Poem by Jesenia Molina

Lost Faith

I see the way you look
How empty your eyes are
How fake your smile is
I see how much you have changed

What happened to you?
Where's the old you?
The you I adored so much
The you that was so confident

Where's the Light that sparkled in your eyes?
Why did it go so suddenly?
Will it ever come back?
I miss it so much

Why's you smile so forced?
It came so freely before
Always brightening my day
Always making me love you more

What happened to the warmth of your skin?
The touch from your fingers
The kisses from your tender lips
I miss everything

Why did your laughter stop?
The way your voice got high pitched
The way your cheeks flushed in excitement
It was intoxicating

Where did the love in your heart go?
Love that embraced everyone near you
Love that had you care for everyone like family
Love that was showed so affectionately

I miss your voice so much
The way you talked softly to me
The way you whispered your love to me
The way it stayed vibrant everyday

I miss what we used to have
I miss us beign together
I'm watching you whither away
And it's killing me

I'll always love you
And I'll always care
But I can't watch you anymore
So I'll help you instead
