Lost For Translation Poem by Madrason .

Lost For Translation

From our vanity chair
we watch the vanity fair
we've become spectators
translators of suffering
buffering the baffling
spitted images of lore
and history and war
what are we looking for
escapism from the bore
dom, kingdom come
for true believers
receivers of
received
deceiving all
into make believing
it doesn't hurt
anyway so far away
we don't know how to grow
or how to enlist
to the armies of life
we are the armchair's wife
we've become the butter-knife;
From our vanity chair
we watch the vanity fair
we've become spectators
translators of suffering
buffering the baffling
spitted images of lore
and history and war:
what are we looking for! M
