Lost In Love Poem by Kristy Artmann

I am lost in love….to the degree of uncertainty of tomorrow….
Many have loved me.
They saw straight through my hard shell to see how sweet and loveable I can be.
Many have lost me.
The method by which to keep me was for them too hard to see.
Many have failed to walk what they have talked.
Listen closely and you will witness how to this disappointment I squawked.
May I ask a favor for the next that steps my way?
Come at me with honesty and my heart is yours for the taking.
The pleasure with be all yours but first you must to me be true.
Forever is too long to wait when the sky is steadily losing its hue of blue.
Many have loved me without being my lover and many have lost me before they realize what they gave up.
Many have loved me.
Many have lost me.
When will one prevail?
