Lost In You Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

Lost In You

Feasting on your beautiful eyes,
My heart melts and I'm hypnotized.
When I gaze upon your face,
I disappear without a trace.

For I am lost when I'm with you.
It's then my dreams are coming true.
I'm lost in the moment of time and space.
It's Heaven with you, anyplace.

When I reach to touch your hand,
It's like I've entered the promised land.
With eyes closed I steal a kiss,
Please know when gone you're sorely missed.

My wish is now to see you soon.
Until I do I'll be in gloom.
And someday that you'll leave no more,
Is exactly what I'm praying for!

Those dreams came true, you became my wife.
Though times were rough and filled with strife.
But together dear we’ve made it through,
And I find that I’m still lost in you!
