Lost Intentions Poem by Wishing For Perfection

Lost Intentions

Surrounded by blackness
not sure which way to turn
or which road to take

She's confused, lost, scared and alone
her friends have left her behind
and she has been used one too many times.

the thoughts she has
scare her to the bone
sending a chill up her spine
and back down again.

Wondering if suicide is really the answer
could she go through with it?
and leave the few she loves behind.

Its getting so hard she can barely breathe
it feels as if a boulder is crushing her very chest
squeezing out the last bit of air she has left.

Her mind is made, she knows what to do
she takes all the pills she can get
and drinks a bottle of scotch.

As she lays down to go to sleep
she whispers one last goodbye
for she has no intention of waking up.
