Lost Jobs & Pretty Boys In El Caminos Daydream - Poem by AliciaPilar Mogollon

Let go during working test
let go during working test
second time around

now i'm driving while texting
driving while texting
got a find another

find another day job
direct deposit
keep my free checkin

ooh looky that
out the window there
sweet man

smiling at me
the sun is framin his blond head
thru the window of his

el camino
why, ask i,
is it never the professional career men

as i note the gleam of his white wife beater
oh but the smile
the smile

and the eyes always snare me
as i find myself mouthin the numbers
as i hold up the cell phone

pretty boys in white wife beaters
drivin el caminos
how i adore you

and he's texting while driving
and i'm texting while driving
and finger eleven's

paralyzer is on the radio
and we're goin out tonight.
