Lotus Blossom Floating Poem by moon batchelder

Lotus Blossom Floating

lotus blossom floating non-challant
on mountain pool,
early morning sun beams shining bright.
i see them twice,
reflected in the mirror of the water;
and wonder to myself which one is real.

moonlight casting shadows, forest meadow
after dark,
giving life and movement to the night.
a pair of eyes, or fireflies appear
or is it spirits?
i wonder to myself which one is real.

visions, meditations, revelations,
i awake
to find the world the same, yet
somehow changed.
the dream around me banished by
realities beyond me,
no longer do i wonder which is real.

From your posts I have read, I prefer your free verse over the rhyming pieces you have. The last two lines are echoing... If you have time, please do check my posts as well. There are only a few.
