Lotus, the mother of the sun.
I salute
Lotus, in white, pink,
Red, blue, purple
And also in yellow colours.

Lotus emerges
In muddy and
Opaque water.

Lotus, Nelumbo Nucifera,
National flower of my India.

Lotus,
I salute
Lotus,
For it represent
Purity of body, mind
And spirit,
Cosmic harmony
And spiritual illumination.

Lotus,
I salute
Lotus for
Faultless beauty,
And
Lotus can survive
Thousands of years
And can be revived
After long dormancy.

Lotus,
The best
Life medicine,
I salute
Lotus,
So fine.
