It cools you when it’s hot
And it dries your tears during hard times
It’s not harsh or violent
And its calmness brings joy to many

Love is like a steady drizzle
It’s never too much or too little
But it’s enough to keep the bed wet
Love is like the sweet scent of a rose
It’s never too faint or too strong
But enough to give you sweet memories

Love is like the setting sun
It’s never too bright or too dim
But it’s enough to make you realise the beauty of nature
Love is like the winter sun
It’s neither too hot nor does it bring cold
But it’s warmth keeps you going

Love is like a new born baby
Gentle to touch and easy to like
Innocent in every way and always
Bringing happiness to many

Love is like a river flowing in winter
It never overflows its banks
And it’s never rough
But it flows with grace
