Love Always Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Love Always

Rating: 4.5

Love always

She called my name
She shouted in pain
She cried and said:
“Go after aunt.”

Aunt was more than a man
Her firmness was the rock
And her softness was water
Her knowledge, a prophet.

My sister was my best friend
She loved children; her own
The most; she wanted many
As if she was the shepherd.

She had problem
Pregnant she became
Abortion raced her
Aunt was to help her.

Now those memories
Invade my brain, isotopes
Where to?
I ask without a word…

I will always love her
Though she lost her life
Trying to reach her last
Forbidden to breastfeed her…
