Love and forgiveness
rest in the palm—
two sides of the same coin,
softly glimmering
in the light of who we are becoming.
To love is to see beyond
the cracks life has left,
to cradle imperfections
like petals—fragile,
yet whole
in the bloom of compassion.
Forgiveness, tender as spring rain,
touches thorned places,
softening the edges
where anger once bloomed.
It is the hand that opens,
letting go of weight
no longer ours to carry.
In its release, love unfurls—
wide as dawn,
casting gold across
the remnants of pain.
To forgive is not to forget,
but to rewrite the story
in softer ink,
where bitterness yields
to the quiet song of grace.
The heart mends
in this silent alchemy—
pain dissolving into kindness,
shadows yielding to light.
And in the space left behind,
love returns, steadfast
as the morning sun,
guiding us forward
toward brighter,
more hopeful horizons.
