Dear love how old you are I know not
But sayings abound that you are first
You came before all else was known
You laid foundation for all things and man
Had you failed none would have existence
For all life is purposed by your face
Without which no man is alive and save
From all these vagaries akin to fate
It's said thou hast four leaden wings
All work together as they swing
To sustain the living and the dead
With water air and spiritual food
Free from tax and price to pay
Free as the air you breath today
But never a tool for selfish beings
For malodorous pleasures and desires
First is the love of God for God
The love the brings forth all love
The inner essence of love's nature
For God desires not but to be seen
As Beauty surpassing every other scene
Attracting all to love and affection
Then follow the love of man for God
A love that caused all faith and believe
A love that enticed all men to God
Giving humans life new and deeds good
To care for others and not a hood
Follow love of God for man and being
The cause of all that man is seeing
A new life through it he be receiving
Of peace, happiness, justice and unity
Of love, tranquility, faith and honesty.
Fourth is love that man have for man
It's a matter of heart to heart known
To see none in all but Him alone
Whether creature big or small one
Thus bring to fruit the goal of peace
An assist mankind to live in ease.
But what truly love is who knows that
Is it what you get as matter of desert
True love is none but total sacrifice
For none but of all earthly live
At all times and not conditioned
Mankind learn to put all others uplifted
Though pain be dull or excruciating
Of body, mind or spiritually demanding
No prerequisite, neither qualification
Just give and give without contemplation
