Love And Stained Glass - Poem by Sara Militello
Love And Stained Glass
Lovers are so like stained glass:
Each piece a myriad confusion
of shapes, sizes, colors
in subtle collusion.
Each piece a special beauty in store
With faces aglow and each different
from the one before ~
varied-colored rays of light
all blending just right
each a sighing willing rubric
that defines the whole fabric
Of a tender love-set,
of smiles all aglitter that invite
Tender, moist kisses; and
glinting sharp as a knife
that can slice a heart to bits...
