Love And Stained Glass
Lovers are so like stained glass:
Each piece a myriad confusion
of shapes, sizes, colors
in subtle collusion
each piece a special beauty in store
with faces aglow and each different
from the one before:
Varied-colored rays of light
all blending just right
each a sighing willing rubric
that defines the fabric
of a tender love-set,
of smiles all aglitter that invite
tender, moist kisses that glint
sharp as a knife and can slice a heart to bits...
