Love And The Sun Poem by Joseph Blitch

Love And The Sun

The sun rises in the East we say;
In reality Earth spins into the day;
The sun shines with continual ray;
Without earth's shadow; it is day;

The Earth rotates; giving us place;
To a point; Where the sun we face;
Now in a position we may treasure;
As its heat and glow give pleasure;

Shining on us brings times of bliss;
Clouds block; suns there; just amiss;
Its light brings Earth a colorful hue;
The Earth spins; Light bids us adieu;

Although its dark the sun still shines;
Its warmth and beauty we don't find;
It's our position and not the suns place;
It always radiates light that is the case;

Love follows the same path and line;
It is always there; passionately fine;
Our frame of mind; not always right;
To truly enjoy its fullness and might.

Tag: Love is like the sun given that it is always shining,
but we are not always in the right position or frame of mind
to enjoy its warmth and beauty.
