Love Anew Poem by Kristy Artmann

Love Anew

Rating: 5.0

There I was saddened and distraught with no hope for tomorrow,
Being this happy seems it’s been too long ago.
Here you are lacking sheep’s cloak,
Giving me optimism I’ll never again be heartbroken.
You are sincere and appreciative, loving and fun,
Look at my smile, it’s what to me you’ve done.
Sweeping me off my feet, catching me before I elegantly fall,
I am so grateful and happy I no longer feel unloved and small.
Holding me firmly and whispering sweet nothings in my ear,
Makes me feel in my heart, to you I am so dear.
Tickling me to my core, releasing laughter unmatched before,
This is some of what you do to me that I so much enjoy!
