Love As Wings Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Love As Wings

Rating: 5.0

You can take the verses with you,
but false riches stay unrhymed

With love as wings, to heaven brings
—your gold all left behind

Loved the flowing beauty of the rhyming simplicity with the gold left behind. The gold imagery reminded me of a good time when I wrote with a the brief gold motifs Ravished Vein Gold Mine Echo Hollow Ravished Vein Bled Vein Glitter Glitter Gone. It was a return to writing, thanks for the memory.
