Love Cookin Poem by David Thomas

Love and Cooking
one in the same,
you mix anything together,
anything at all
Sometimes it tastes good and smells bad
sometimes it's the other way around
Combine two or three,
and you may make a great snack
but too much isn't a good thing,
or you may make a good idea
and it may make you sick-
like cooking, love is meant for two, maybe more
no one can really say
but when the love gets cookin,
you wanna have a good, whole-hearty meal
and add to it a great smell,
and a good feeling in your tummy,
but like cooking,
sometimes love has a great taste
and a horrible aftertaste,
or a horrible taste
and in some cases,
a great aftertaste.
