Love Doesn'T Ask Why Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Love Doesn'T Ask Why

I know very well that, you are a woman;
Beautiful in appearance that you are but,
My love for you is beyond the deluge of waters.
On your account,
On my account,
Come closer to me;
You are very beautiful.
Love doesn't ask 'why'?
It comes straight from the heart;
True love doesn't ask 'why'?
It speaks direct from the heart;
Loving you is another page in my history.
Beautiful in appearance, my sweet one;
When you are half way up,
You are also half way down.
Carry me home,
My sweet lover on my mind;
Love doesn't ask 'why'?
My sweet lover,
Come and carry me home.
Do i have to send the raven for you?
Do i have to send the dove for you?
My sweet lover,
Come and carry me home.
I know well that, you are a woman;
So, come and carry me home.
