Your love is liquor, in it I am drunk,
I stagger up and down, not satisfied,
I take more, and my soul is amplified,
As I recount I’ve lost being in a funk,
In the liquid of your love I am drunk,
Your love is my shrine, found identified
With you, drinking more I am stupefied,
To be glad in you my worries is sunk.
In your drink I’ve turned love’s problem lover,
Thus, all seeming babble for my sweetie
Are signs that my wretchedness is over,
And endless praise for your sweet great beauty.
I’ll rush more down my throat, more I’ll still sup,
Can’t stop carousing contents of your cup.
A very interesting analogy between alcohol and love.. And the sonnet form is good too... Thank you for sharing..
