Love Eternal - Poem by Goutam Hazra

Grandma mine
lying dead
her beige face
expressing satiety,
holding her hand
Grandpa there
sitting stoic
murmuring in her ear,
“Trousseau with all yours,
be waiting for a while only,
on our way to eternity.”
