Love flies on fragile wings
that can be damaged in any storm.
They flutter in your heart
to keep the love within warm.
Two hearts that beat as one
can be split into two
when rage bangs on the door
and tells love to shoo.
Be careful what you say
at any given time
only say the soft words
I think you know what I mean,
never raise voices
when two hearts are pure
for love flies on fragile wings
that can be damaged in any storm.
