Love For A Stranger Poem by Nia Moise

Love For A Stranger

Rating: 5.0

I see you at least twice a day
To me you stand out from a crowd
You're definitely not like other people
I feel like we've spoken before
But I have no memory of it

Who are you? Why do our eyes always meet?
I have strong feelings for you
Yet I know not who you are
I smile at the thought of you
My heart races at the sight of you

I've never felt this way before
I'm not the type to feel so strongly
At least not for such a stranger
I rack my brain trying to find a single memory of you
Can it be love at first sight? Or is there an explanation?

Why can't I stop thinking about you?
Those dreamy eyes, that wondrous smile
I often wonder, do you even feel the same way?

Just a single poem in your page yet a wonderful one.. I liked the way you penned it so lovingly..this would make a beautiful gospel song.

This is a lovely poem capturing the feeling of someone going through this situation.I feel that you are a poet to watch, a poet in the making. You made me go through your feelings with you.and I have enjoyed your writing.

So young to be pining for such a long lasting state. There is so much to experience first and then you will no longer have to pine for it will come to you true at last. Read mine - The Bloom of Youth - Adeline
