In the noon of summer
To the shade of a tree
You come making sound
As you crush the dry leafs;
With dress pull to the knees
With hair hanging loose on
The shoulders and nape, you
Tread cautiously on dry sheaf;
I wait for you sitting on a
Stone with hot wind beating
Against my face and dreaming
To put a kiss on your face;
You fall on my lap like a
Plant decked with flowers
Bearing sweet essences, for
Me you look sweet and fresh;
In the shade of the tree
We spend the noon in each
Other's arms like old lovers
Who have lived apart long;
Both are happy like young
Birds ready to fly first time
Wings of love open, with each
Flapping they are going strong
