Love In Wrong Places Poem by shane rose

Love In Wrong Places

Rating: 4.0

Its time to move on,
But I don't know if I'm that strong,
To forget that feeling,
Of completeness you brought,
When drugs i sought,
All I needed was love,
I looked in wrong places,
And true love was wasted,
Consumed by substance,
Blew multiple chances,
To finally speak truth,
About my deadly habit,
I desperately wanted to boot
But you needed no proof,
The second you realised,
I went from lover to despised,
So we grew apart,
Eternal broken heart,
Time went by,
So we kept our distance,
I so badly missed us,
Feels like you've forgotten me,
Since you've become free,
Now you can see,
You don't think your for me
