Silent Plea Poem by shane rose

Silent Plea

Start from the beginning,
Id feel I were winning,
Wasted time over again,
Obsessed by the sting,
Constantly abused myself,
And everyone who cared for me,
Too consumed in thought,
Blinded, I could not see,
It was there all along,
That feeling I sought,
Was always going to be caught,
It was myself who I fought,
Day after day,
Started off just as play,
Stupid decisions I made,
Stupid actions displayed,
Lost all sense of love,
As I misplaced myself,
It was an imposter you see,
He took over me,
Ruled my life,
Silent plea,
Please return me back,
To the person I once be,
Ability to stop myself,
From ever returning,
Forever hurting
