If love were waters
Let it within us, flood
Let's build no more gutters
Let it flow just like the blood
If love were fire
Let's not allow the flames vanish
Let it burn in us as a dear desire
Let's never attempt to extinguish
If love were light
Let's allow it, just like the summer sun
Let's make it in us shine bright
So as to bring out the fun
Since love is a seed, let's allow it grow
Beside the waters that doth do flow

Fine and lofty verse. Beautiful love poem, well conceived and nicely embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. An insightful creation - a work of an intricate mind. Thanks for sharing Chinonso and do remain enriched.
