Love Is An Endless Pain Poem by Miklos Balogh

Love Is An Endless Pain

They said ‘there is nothing to hide'
I asked them ‘what happened to the skies'
They answered ‘there are no more roses to blossom'

They said ‘the world is flat and crazy'
I asked them ‘do I have to be hazy'
They answered ‘time is not for the week'

I walked away to find some silence and piece
They blocked my way to disturb my rhythm
But I danced my way towards paradise and smiled

They called the winds to break my soul
I laughed at them with an arrogant pose
As they carried my heart into their darkness

They sang a song that smashed my hardness
Children of the Devil have stolen my providence
The winds conceded their voice to faraway lands

The stars painted my fate with flames
I still carry the weights of my failures
Nobody thought me how to correct my steps

Love is an endless pain in the end

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
from my book: LOVE HURTS. I think, I was a bit 'in the pink'; in a period of time, when I escaped to my backyard, making love to a bottle of scotch...
