Love Is Not Enough Poem by Hebert Logerie

Love Is Not Enough

Sometimes love is not enough
To keep us together
You can giggle and cough
All you want dear lover
Sometimes love is insufficient
It is primarily the main ingredient
Love is a positive event, a great excuse
If we can call it this way to diffuse
All emotions involved in this intrigue
Do you get it? If you dig, dig
Deeper in the deafening hole
If you climb the slippery pole
You will find love and company
Love is a parasite, a tragedy
In process, an event waiting to happen
To change course to the lion's den.
