'Love Is Only A Word' - Poem by Brytanne Lee

She was from France
He was from America
They danced
He left
She was alone
She looked in the mirror
She saw nothing
She touched her skin where he once was
It was cold now with no life
She went over her body with want in her eyes
He had been with her, he had lived in her
But now she was abandoned
She saw him they looked and their eyes met
Tears streamed down her face, a waterfall of regrets
She gave herself to him
Now he was the one who wanted
He cried when she was not by his side
He died every day, more and more when he was not with her
They blended together
They loved together
But they were never made for each other
