Love Is Poetic
Poetry is, her lips touching mine
reflections of candle light
when we dine
under the same blanket warm and snug
chest to breast
when we hug
her the bride
me the groom
together for a ride
sleeping in the same room
together though apart
living loving
heart to heart
like the sun shining off the sea
I shine from her
and she, me
nothing ever sent from above
is more poetic than
that of love
